Isabel's thin frame is much more like her mother, but her height comes from her father. Thinly built, her chest doesn't draw attention, unlike her long limbs and freckled, pale skin. The girl seems almost willowy, like a strong wind might take her away, but she has much to firm of a hold on things to allow that. Also a closer look shows a bit of meat here and there.
Most prominently on Isabel's face would be her cheek bones. They are high and make her occasional smiles all the sweeter, but her mischievous smirks more sinister. Her slight widow's peak is barely noticeable and often covered by her red hair that matches her sister's almost perfectly most days, but tends to grow almost blonde after long summer months. The girl's small almond eyes give one a sense that she knows more than she's telling, appropriate for her House and herself as well.

Isabel is a firey young woman. She has to stew before she makes an opinion, but will stick like glue to whatever that opinion may be. Her friends and family are important, but they all come number two to herself. This sometimes gives her a cool nature, but as she's much more playful than her sister it doesn't put off the same ice queen vibe. Catch her in a lie or a contradiction, she'll stay with her own story. She's a genius at lying on the spot and has no issue hamming up something to get her way or avoid trouble.

Parent's Occupation: Duff MacDougal is a Beater for the Pride of Portree. Abigail runs a music shoppe with a Muggle front and magical instruments in the back.
Family History: The MacDougal clan is based out of Argyll, Scotland. They live just down the way from Dunollie Castle. Dunollie House is a museum and front for the family's Muggle uses. The MacDougals themselves are thoroughly magical, having birthed many Quidditch players and grand wizards. Through the hardships in the country, the family remained and has a small wizarding community hidden within the forest surrounding the castle and only accessible via a secret entry in Dunollie House. The family has always been fighters and continue to be so, sparing the branches who have struck out on their own, which may include Morag's.
Morag's parents met at Hogwarts. Duff was a Quidditch star and Abigail was a polite young Prefect with a chip on her shoulder which was shockingly larger than his own. They bonked heads initially, but she envied his talents on the Pitch and the moment he heard her play the fiddle, he fell in love. They made a smart match, both from Scottish families of the Highlands, though Abigail comes from a branch who moved to England during the Clearance. This was where that lot picked up their magic, while the MacDougals brought it with them from Norway.
After school, Duff went to play with the Pride of Portree and Abigail was unsure of what to do exactly. She was a bright girl with a love of music, so she wandered about a bit. Eventually she settled down in Portree when Duff got tired and having to track her down and finally proposed to her. Using money she'd earned from working and knowledge she'd gotten from both her and his families, Abigail opened up a Muggle instrument shoppe which specialized in classic Scottish instruments, like the bagpipe, fiddle, and harp, as well as more privately in Magical instruments. It's been suggested that Kirly Duke of the Weird Sister bought one of his first guitars from her shoppe.
Neither of their daughters were surprising, though they weren't exactly planned for either. Still, both girls came happily and spent much of their time going back and forth between their home in Portree and their father's family home at the magical Dunollie Village community. Their first years of education were done here, alongside their cousins.
The death of the eldest daughter, Morag, has hurt the family deeply. Both parents have thrown themselves more into their chosen lines of work, hoping to dull the pain and Isabel has been spending much more time at the Dunollie Village.

Personal History: Isabel followed her sister to Hogwarts without much trouble. She ignored all the idiots asking if she was a Weasley amd made her own little nook in Ravenclaw's social world easily. Academically, she's bright and was invited into the Slug Club along with her sister when the group was introduced by Professor Slughorn. Morag declined the invitation, but Isabel was never one to put down connections. When Prefect was awarded to Riza Rivers instead of herself, she was a touch jealous, but then quickly decided she didn't want that much responsibility on her shoulders. School itself is easy enough and she's never had to worry about cramming for anything. Yet, that is. Socially speaking, Isabel's dated around. She's too young to let herself worry that this one may or may not be "the one". Her in school relationships are no secret. Her out of school relationships on the other hand are easily neglected. The summer after the battle, Isabel was distressed to the point of latching on to a Muggle boy she started dating and losing her virginity to him. It wasn't a bad experience, but then it wasn't a good one either and that relationship has since ended.
Isabel's final years went by with little consequence. She studied hard, made decent grades by most standards, but not quite up to her own par. </small>

While Isabel could have easily picked up a job in the Ministry, she elected to go home and work for her mother's shop while things stirred between the two worlds. She stayed mostly at the family village which was shook toward the end of things to the point where Isabel no longer felt safe. She left for Hawkshead.
There she skipped jobs for a couple of months before settling on a clerk position at an instrument store where her mother knew the owner. She does her work usually, but takes her breaks when she wants and more or less walks all over her current employers. She also does her best to smuggle around magical instruments for her mother when she can.
